Titanum wächst

Since this is my first post here: I want to say love to all Hello. I have read here much and what my seed was me through the whole contributions and concerns my dealing with Amorphophallusknollen, very helped. It has made me simply more secure and I had a better feel.

I got two Titanum just under two months ago by Shrek seeds. Of which one has seen the light of the world about two weeks ago. I had noticed the pots not so right and suddenly loomed as such a small part out of the Earth. I only thought it would be a weed and it did it just not.
Meanwhile, the tip is less than 2, 5 cm.

Re: Titanum wächst

Hello

the plant is grown now in just under two days a cm. I currently have it in a propagator, which stands on a heating pad. If that grows, it is quite fast too big for my small greenhouse. I can be continuously a warm foot her through the heating pad, but if it grows so quickly, then I can provide do not continue to the high humidity it. Would be sufficient as e.g. (ã ftersprühen). Ã fter would be three or four times a day.

Re: Titanum wächst

Hello water Leitbündel;-),.

the humidity is not as critical in titanum in my opinion, because the hand is quite thick and "leathery". The "hot foot" is much more important.
I had my titanum long in the living room at the given air humidity are available....

You can save the spraying you believe... (harm it is but also not....)

Happy growing,
Bernhard.

Since the last post quite a bit has happened with me. The plant is now just under 8 cm high and makes a healthy impression.

It is rather already completed in the bud and extends only.

But you're obviously right: it is to see top of medium-sized parts page now is growing this from the bract out.

Happy growing still,

Re: Titanum wächst

This is the Titanum looks today. What I Mr is that she do not properly flat unfolds the leaves.
Me da someone possibly ne concrete answer to this problem. You may refer as well and the leaves have also already quite slowly somewhat stretched but just still not complete.
It stands at 28 degrees of soil temperature and also warm air under artificial light. Humidity is between 30 and 40 percent.

The leaves have not begun to roll up, but have not yet developed

Re: Titanum wächst

Hello xylem,.

can you write anything to the substrate?
I hope you have the fine sand only to cover taken and not as part of the substrate; He would it only what and do not increase the pore volume.

A friend should you give not only artificial light but ensure that the seedling as possible gets as much natural radiation. Possible that it is on the light, being so pale green.

Or is the substrate ungedüngt? Then leaf color might indicate you already nitrogen deficiency.

Until titanum leaves have completely unrolled, it may take a while. This is bein so new foliation of a dormant tuber. Therefore I would worry put me in...

Happy growing,
Bernhard.

Re: Titanum wächst

Hi Bernard,.

It is in a mixture of little sand about 10% and kokohum.
The sand on the surface is just a cover against Sciaridae.
I dung the plant currently very carefully. I.e. for every second casting

To the light, I thought that it is perhaps better to artificially provide them instead of exposing them to the rather barren winter sun. But I would have a Südfenster, since I could put them out.

I will they fertilize once more and see what happens. Also I will times to make it to the window.

Re: Titanum wächst

Sand and Kokohum are indeed virtually nährstofflos, and I think as soon as they develop leaves and lot power-up they'll need something strong, so that they can develop themselves better.

Re: Titanum wächst

Hello xylem,.

If it is possible, you can give even the additional light on the Südfenster.

Is the plant in a mini grower?
If so, the Satndort on the Südfenster is obviously problematic, because it is then easily (far) too warm in the mini-GWH at Soneneinstrahlung.

Happy growing,
Bernhard.
