titanum

Hello
the various sides have scrolled and have then hang at the inventory lists of the members remained very impressive collections. now the question is me, why so many lovers cultivate titanum, if it is so Grauburgunder, ye all, a tropical greenhouse, or it is easier to cultivate than you thought? And where have you bought the tubers or seed, on ebay? I am looking for a long time titanum, but prices for seeds on ebay are very daunting. Does anyone know of a reputable source where the price/performance ratio is true? But not only titanum search but types of South-East Asian space.
Many greetings

Hello

titanum seeds/tubers are expensive, that's right. But that's as well. So will prevent the market thus is überschwämmt.
No dealer as I know to which sold in the EU of seeds/tubers of A.titanum. I am looking for on ebay.

At A.titanum place after is above probably more important than a glass house. If you have a very light and warm place in the apartment, also can be the way. As seedlings they are somewhat sensitive in terms of air humidity and especially congestion wetness as they age but, as the humidity is not a big problem, as long as there is no desert climate in the home.

It is important to have full year-at least 20 degrees Celsius. And you have to have a well drainaged soil.

Then it should work with A.titanum.

But as I said. There must be ample room to the top. Because you are about 5 meters when you are grown.

MfG
Stephan

Hello happyvireya,
titanum seeds are usually not overpriced on ebay I think after. Also a pretty subjective thing is whether the price/performance ratio as adequate is perceived.
For bargain hunters, Amorphophallus is clearly the wrong genus. Or seen something:
sukkulentensammlung - collection of Succulents ebay doerr Dörr

When you consider the types are as rare and which cost collectors (travel) and provider (glasshouse) partly driving, a hefty price tag is simply also reasonable.

The offers of e.g. tindara1 on ebay are reputable and OK. This shows why the prices are a little, as they are:

There are other reputable vendors on ebay, but good reviews are simply zT only due to the ignorance of the buyer.

Nevertheless - happy bidding, Bernhard.

P.S.:, Stephan has with the Kultivierbarkeit of titanum already. I know some people who keep titanum successfully in the living room.

I can only confirm Tindara Bernhard's statement. I had also ordered years ago.
Very serious woman!

and the with the Titanum Preis...da I agree him also. Rare species now have its price. I for instance would spend no 1200 € for a purebred dog or one expensive sports car.
