Re: Typhonium venosum treibt wieder aus

Hi Christian,

I not had the problem yet.
As the bud is already so great, would I by kultivieren they probably, if the conditions are good (especially enough light).

If you out topfst it and dry lagerst, I would assume that the tuber is no harm.
In this cases it would be interesting to see whether the bud is a flower bud, and whether in the Frtühjahr a more flower bud arises or a sheet the same.

Following questions yet:
1. Were the leaves of this year drafted?
2. Then did the bulb in the damp substrate?

Well, now the decision when you stuck....

Good luck
Bernhard.

Hey Bernard,

the sheets were fed for 4 weeks and then remained in moist substrate.
After 2 weeks, the bud was already there, but wegens she grew cold weather not much more.

Re: Typhonium venosum treibt wieder aus

Hi Christian,
then the moist substrate, maybe "helped", that it again is out...
I keep my tubers after the feeding of sheets always dry.
But you had with the 2 weeks hardly time them out to topfen....
MfG,
Bernhard.

Re: Typhonium venosum treibt wieder aus

Hi Christian

I had a similar situation a year ago. In October I got a pot where the large leaves of the frost had suffered in the home, as a third hand was yet to see, which was still in order.

That went well a while, the leaf has grown, but it has not unfolds. It is are still simply. The main reason was safe, despite additional lighting, lack. That it has grown well in the beginning was probably due to the temperature. The new leaf is withered then early January and I got the bulb out of the pot.

I have put the bulb to my other Typhonium tubers then regardless. This summer a tuber until mid-August has begun to grow. The hand was almost complete when it was destroyed by frost. Whether that was the tuber of last fall, I do not know unfortunately, but I can well believe it.

Believe us, but would like up-to-date as it continues with your plant.

Greeting Olvi
