Schwarzes Schleim !!
I started to pick up my Typhonium venosum tubers from the pots since we had already frost.
On many tubers, I find small 1...2 cm long lump of black slime. Most of the time, one is at the end of the lumps under a Cormel wedged. This slime is tough, black and is intensively if one scratches off it. It is very sticky and therefore easy to get away with a wooden handle. At the first glance one might almost think that it is a black snail, but it's not. The tubers normally look, not attacked or
attacked by something.
Unfortunately, I can make any macro shot with my camera.
What can be?

Hm, (colourless) SAP may be occurring from, which is then oxidized and therefore dark. should be something like a resin.

It actually comes from the Corm!
I have freshly harvested tubers made clean and removed the remains of the old tubers. While I have damaged something a tuber in a few places (the tuber has received wounds).
I put it to the side and two hours later when I brought them out of the garage two hanging a projection ca long colorless cones on the tuber. The mass is feels like jelly.
The mass is now dry and really hard. She turns to sure black when it comes into contact with Earth.
I don't have a picture always yet.
Perhaps a gust of wind a tuber which not deep enough in the world is move so much, creating a wound at the mounting point of Cormel?
