If it gets works one consist of a min 3 cuttings out now heists wait.

The pieces are still green but occurs when the species already the aufhellung that is why I think the attempt has failed.VL was there but too little area ne to make Spud, or I have done irgentwas wrong.

Even if the leaf pieces are withered completely, they can pick from the Corm. I have they probably too long drang leaving, because it the speeding tickets at the point have already become a bit muddy. Have everything removed and treated with charcoal powder. My recommendation: the yellow sheet in time cut off!

I'll let the tubers in the damp substrate until they - hopefully - again cast out.

I would not expect a synchronous behavior. I think that it is rather on an interplay of tuber, root and former and their influence on the endogenous growth regulators.
At the site on Sumatra, the feeding of plants is probably controlled by the water supply (rain / dry season).

EDIT MAY 21, 2008:

The leaf of titanum can stand up to 24 months and that does not match a site with seasonal strongly different crushing or rainy and dry season.

Can you see once after pulling the plants, whether already a cuttings or leaf Bud is to see to the tubers? A photo of the resulting tubers would be very interesting.

Thought I me already.Think the Amorphis are about evaporation of the leaves as the leaves are actually not so thick quite sensitive.When other cuttings, the leaves are eingeküzt in part what is said to reduce the evaporation surface.I don't know how that looks when the amorphis.

Well, I show a picture of one of my Blattsteckis halt also once again.

The speeding tickets from the sheet with the small bits of stem is tuned - a bit "rectangular" :D . Driving at least 1 drive and a strong root now... Let's see what da right below still comes out.

Some Spaghnum Moss had been left and on the perlite soil mix to increase the (air) moisture. The whole is now again warm the terrarium. Will pot up probably soon times correctly the speeding tickets.

Because you need relatively large mother plants and also quite large leaf cuttings for this method, you can safely forget that as a way of quickly and cost-effectively propagation method for titanum.

As you can you better at i-bäh buy a seed for 5 British pounds.
