Hi Michael,.

too bad that you no longer know. I had my first in the greenhouse are available, then the leaves got something like a whitish coating. Since then (ca end of May) they are now outside the wall with Ãœberdachung. Do your have this coating on the leaves? Think it could be a fungus or such like, animal pests eliminated almost, I would have seen that.

Re: Infos zu Typhonium kumingense

Hello

Has anyone had a new experience with cultivating T Kumingense?

I think the plant in pots in the garden. It has tolerated not the direct sun (the leaves have rolled up together), and is now in the Penumbra, where it grows well. Also I observed the grey color on the leaves, but only on older that wither anyway. How big are the plants with you, my no higher than 10 cm is what after all compared to summer 2007, the double height is.

Is T Horsfieldii but a synonym for Kumingense?

Greeting Olvi

Re: Infos zu Typhonium kumingense

Hi people,

I've had my T.k. in the first (last) year in the pot in pretty mineral substrate. Went easily, but they were really very small. This spring, when the first tip has shown, I have planted just them together with their Bale of pot in my Aroidbeet. And they grew madly. About twice as high as last year. So about 20 cm and really lush. A flower was even there. The site is almost full sunny (summer until about 6 pm sun, then direction fall less and less) with very permeable fertile ground. I've dug the ground there and fill it up with my old Succulents substrate as well as compost.

Re: Infos zu Typhonium kumingense

Hello
My T kummingense made a flower.
The plant is not higher than 10 cm and is partial shade as in the last year.
The tuber was not greater than 2 cm in diameter when I eintopfte it.
Seems to be a kind of easy to cultivate with a certain Tuber size.
This year she has still no grey color on the leaves.

Hello frangipani,.

I keep them like Typhonium venosum.
You must be dry, so far, more than 99% survived the break.

The problem: they don't move into the garden and the Frost destroys the green leaves.
If you then store the tubers with muddy stems in a pile in the cool garage, non - dry or too slowly -.
and so are the spring 60.70% of tubers that are broken.
But that makes no one probably :icon_lol:
