How it work my Indian Giant(sofern es wirklich eine Indian Giant ist und nicht eine normale T.venosum, denn habe sie erst indem Herbst als Knolle erworben) seems a flowering stem to form. The currently stored at room temperature, get well my normal ulcers from the cellar to the hurry up something in terms of flower.
And I will take the pollen from the Indian giant and will, venosum pollinating a flowering of normal because of dennen I have already several tubers, because it does not matter if they are somewhat weakened by seed formation

Hi,.
If I read this correctly, then is a Typhonium nubicum similar a Typhonium Indian giant?

I bought namely in the autumn on a garden a t. nubicum for €2 market, with a blade... and the dealer said it was a very small permanent Sorte...hab that was not commented. But then the opposite is true probably :D

Hello Julitschka,

can you adjust, after the leaf is fully unfolded, even a photo?
I wonder whether yours has nubicum as the typical wide leaf segments.

Happy growing, Bernhard.

IG fans

yesterday was the first flowering of the IG (left in the first picture), today the first of the "nubicum" (law and large image)...

I was hoping that two flowers on a tuber gleichteitig blossom, but the development is apparently out of sync...

Happy viewing, Bernhard.

Hi Bernard,.

you get in free to the bud growth have had?
The flower is so beautiful on the tuber, I didn't get out yet that despite lighting in the home.
It looks absolutely awesome.
On the first day, the flowers look always the best, they start on the 2nd to wither.

Hi Bernard,.

Very nice. The a Cormel can make a flower I've ever seen.
The flowers are so red in colour as it looks on the screen, or the light makes the color more beautiful?
If you compare the pictures with the originals, do you have the same color? This dark red color is really beautiful.

On the Internet, I've seen Sauromatum images with the same color also. Maybe there are differences.

I've never seen a so red flower in the garden, and I mean that I have IG Cormels from you.
Might it have to do with the fertilization, or with the temperature in the storage?

Many greetings
Phillip

Hello fans of Indian giants...

@Ronny: The buds have evolved in the winter garden (solid wood roof, so no light from above).
I shot it at, so they tend to not so much to the light and stay beautiful upright...
You are now only outdoors, because it otherwise not so good to withstand the winter garden... ;)

@ Phillip: the flowers are deep red, almost Brown; at Sun, they show this deep vibrant Claret but also in natura as it also on the images to be.

index.php? page = attachment & attachmentID = 2305

The top of the piston also actually had this purple blue coloring; the top seemed somehow hurt; possibly this is because I at the turn of the tubers and casting stumbled in the winter garden to the tips of the bud.
The second peak of the IG left in the post was undamaged and evenly red dyed in the past years.

If anyway of the storage has to do, I don't know. they are shut out getopft in the unheated basement at 10-12 ° C, and for about three/four (?) Weeks driving the Blütneknospen much and I got two large tubers up maybe 2 weeks ago; Since then, they were approximately 30 ° C at max on the day and minimum 16 ° c. in the winter garden.
Fertilized is only after feeling and discretion with blue or similar (last year 12 + 12 + 17 + 2; according to what has so stock Raiffaissen = N + P + K + mg).

By the way, I had the impression that the IG has stunk yesterday penetranter as the "nubicum" today. I will look at the following flowers still closer to...

Happy growing, Bernhard.

IG fans

@Olvi: I've made photos again today and now the impression that the photos maybe but slightly increase the Red or the colour is a little brighter.
This is the second flowering of the IG, which blossomed today. The Maroon is slightly darker than in the photo with the eye. index.php? page = attachment & attachmentID = 2309

But interesting: yesterday the "nubicum" flowering is bright index.php? page = attachment & attachmentID = 2308

It may be that the blossoms since yesterday has become brighter, but I have not so dark it in memory, such as the IG today.
When the second of the "nubicum" blooms on I must look at this once more.

If there is indeed a difference, it could mean that the two tubers are two different genotypes.
I think still that the tuber as nubicum-run, if not same as IG, belongs to then but at the same overgrowth-tribe.

Happy growing, Bernhard.

Hello Ronny,.

Thanks for the pictures...
OK, looks like it, are the environmental conditions that have a major impact on the colour it maybe more.

I will also once there fully blossom one of those who are still in the basement, and then examine the color.

Happy growing, Bernhard.

as I had already written yours have had ideal conditions and light,
you about beautiful aufsitzen ducks on the flower and on its strong coloring.
Which also under artificial light or in the dark, have up to 20cm stalk (to recognise also on the picture with the flowers cut off)
EH come on the flower, just not nice looks and overturn the flowers also mostly then.

I had last night to cut off the flowers, airing there today spared me give belly;)

Hi Julia,

Hmmmm tuber to be hard to say... that seems a fairly small (gross)...
But the leaf segments seem to be rather broad in relation to the length, which is not like the normal form.
The petiole drawing would be still interesting, because the "nubicum" pretty typical (and identical) IG and my...

Hello

Wallace first ridiculous looks because I the picture above of Julia see, planting small tubers not into such small pots.
In the picture you can see what is from such a small Corm in 3 months, no matter whether in the pot or border.
Only 4 small tubers in a 90l container for mortar should no longer enough space to get the maximum, at 6 or 7
and the tubers are only 500 g instead of 1,5Kg
