Minimalgröße für eine Blüte?

IG fans

must an Indian giant for the first flower be greater (absolute) as a Knollle of the normal form of?
I don't have any of the normal form...
Dung beetle wonders whether this is so, since IG is Yes absolutely; a normal form, so even at smaller Knollengrröße flowers...

Happy growing, Bernhard.

P.S.: regarding the rotation of a tuber in the run of the season and I've made no observations of flowering in comparison to the previous year's shoots position; possibly, I think next year you make sure...

I had 3 flowering events in my currently cultivated plants of normal form. All the tubers were 325 g and heavier and had a diameter of 9,5 cm upwards. There was so far no tuber that was bigger or heavier and not flourished. At the first flowering of the larger tuber, tuber weight is unknown me, but I'm not assuming that that was lighter than the smaller bulb with one centimeter of less in diameter.

I never measured the flowering tubers in the past before. The reminder after which were more slightly smaller, maximum however they had the size of the smaller bulb. So so about 8-10 cm in diameter.

Rummaging in the net I am taken somewhere on the statement, that the tubers from approximately 6 cm in diameter are capable of flowering. Unfortunately, I had to set a bookmark.

Similar information on the flowering of IG are completely unknown to me.

Hello

I know the statement that a tuber from 6 cm diameter flowers too, but every summer I have a small number of tubers of normal form that bloom with a diameter of only 4 cm (diam. 4 cm approx. 5%, diam 5 cm ca 70%, diam 6 cm 100%).

I haven't tried to analyse why this is so. Could be for example that the 4 cm bulb several years is old, but due to several bad summers in a row bad has grown. It would be a kind of emergency flower. The last four Summers were here climatically disastrous.
No flowers make little IG-Knollen(4cm). I have not noted also how large an IG tuber must be. In my Excel spreadsheet see IG tubers which have flourished with 6 cm.

Little tubers never flourished at that time with me. I have not measured at that time though, but the flourishing were somewhat larger. And the only bulb that I had at the current plants in size, had pushed last year two leaves and resulted in the tuber with the stuck flower be measured through smaller 9.5 cm.

Otherwise, I have a handful of primary Cormels, ranging up to the 4 cm close with the maximum dimension, but I do not expect a flower where. Could be that your blooming 4 cm tubers are already several years old.

When you bloom several times but IG tubers from 6 cm had, there seems to be hardly a difference from the normal form.

Yes, I forgot to mention.
The primary Cormels, from the first summer bloom never saw I, no matter how big they are.
My 4 cm Kollen were all older than one year.

Also a couple of times, I've had left stuck flowers. As far as I can remember the weather was rainy and cold both times.

What happened from the normal form from Laos in Typhonium venosum in original condition? happened?

It appears here in the Forum ever one with 4, 5cm to have flourished: Typhonium venosum in original condition?

Hello dung beetle,.

I lost (sort of...); at least it is no longer in stock...
In this respect it should rightly say: I have no normal form more...

I had blocked it but obviously already successfully that I even had them... :icon_confused:

Happy growing, Bernhard.

I stumbled upon also by chance about it. If you have interest in the normal form again, you can register with me. I could spare even a few small (gross) tubers.

Zoff with the neighbors?
I hope the neighbor is out of town. Odour should be the reason for neighbouring argue Yes to 3%.

Hi Phillip,

so far, there was still no inquiries - the first two flowers opened this morning...
My wife said, however, that it would be an imposition - röche it as a dead body in the shed... :icon_lol:
But the wind is currently very strong, so that the sweet smell quickly is gone with the wind.
I'm keeping it exactly in the eye or nose - if it gets too bad, I reach for a knife... :icon_winkgrin:

Happy blooming, Bernhard.

Hello everyone
Meanwhile, or even mehrere...doch I had somehow it still does not really work with denen...oder I'm too impatient. I've watered too much 3 smaller nodules, in autumn, no mehrcdavon was found. And something larger, so maybe 50 grams, I buried this time 3 in my Araceenbeet, but since you have absolutely nothing is. You are a shrivelled me pretty in the winter. Maybe they have the open storage not vertragen...oder I must be more patient.

I also wonder where you bring in the whole tubers. I mean, in terms of space probably in partial shade in the garden, but you need but also lots of substrate for pot culture. Still really large Crusher are however determined on the 15 tubers, and...

Hi Ralf,.

Storage in the basement, even of small tubers, causes me never, you shrink so much, that you no longer drive.
Cormels drive but always later than large tubers.
I think possibly a handful tubers rotted at times really me over the winter, but most survive well.
Großer Knollen simply lie on the concrete floor, Cormels come in a bucket...

I cultivate the largest in a 20-L construction buckets the cheapest solution for such "pots" and then at the beginning looks like: index.php? page = attachment & attachmentID = 3994
A short time later you can see nothing more of the pots...

The tubers are or were actually only used when i-Bah some € to recover, so I cover the Bill for the winter garden at least zT this can or could.
For one or two years the demand exists but barely...

Happy growing, Bernhard.

You have to haben...wobei a large plot of land, with me, the pond occupies the most...

I think that has changed again with the demand. I collect Yes focus on carnivores, but because the price level is currently completely out of control, if you will. Exchange is nothing more or less, and prices for plants that are required by private individuals, are often the same, familiar from the well-known merchants. Partly even considerably higher. Maybe you should shift your focus for something...

Greetings Ralf

Sure that too much water was the cause of the loss? I did that last year with a few primary Cormels an opposite experience. They were not to kill with plenty of water. You stood among weather conditions over several days (at least 2-3, sometimes even longer) with wet feet. This went so far that the pots were up to the edge of the water in at least 2 cases.

The open storage is usually not a problem. During storage, I had shrinking tubers last winter for the first time. It concerned only the two largest and flowering enabled tubers, why ever.
