2 Blätter aus einer Knospe!

Now my 3 kg dumplings has decided after flowering in March finally to exorcise, because I've felt a strange form under the bud leaves. The expulsion was flattened not pointy keglförmig around to feel but more, since I had feared has a 2. flower. The plant is now a bit further, and since I have the Christmas present: 2 sheets from a bud! You can see that on the images clearly, that sprout from a large bract 2 equal sheets.

In the 2nd photo - seen if it is somewhat out of focus - that is the two stalks of something ggs. flat pressed have.

I am curious now already, whether each of the two stores an own tuber.

Oh yeah, on the older photo it is the slightly smaller Flower:

You can see exactly that stalks are below set aims, but also already 2 curves are visible in cross section.

Yes and - are there really two tubers? That would interest me now still, whether that is so to speak "can share".

Knollen teilen sich?!?

Even at the risk of sounding, to be crucified:
TUBERS SPLITTING IS NOT POINT
Normal undisturbed procedure, for example, in A.konjac:
1. From a corm 1 or more sheets drive out.
2. During the growing season, the old bulb is offset and (partially) already "composted".
"what scruffy not divided."
3. The sheets / each sheet (in the case of no longer young tubers) saves all new 1 bulb.
4. These tubers have primary Cormels often - usually on slopes.

Special cases, an example:
Extremely short growing season in the open,
or sheet attrition due to accident or illness:
Follow:
The old bulb is not or hardly absorbed, but more or less on geschrumpelt, the new bulb sits up or sideways on the old (rest) bulb. The danger is that the rest is the new bulb with e.g. rot.

Others may complement the special forms of growth with maintained the old Corm. (I have no g.h. and no appropriate place in apartment and Office, pure and rough towing is not quite possible!) (For my garden you are all nothing.)

Now briefly to the actual (confusingly worded) question:
The two leaves were just a sheet. Was this hand - which always - already in the bud ([it was definitely just b] one [/ b] [bud with b] one [/ b] bracts!) the stem is deformed and shared fairly low down in the petiole. As a result it lookedas if there were 2 sheets. This sheet has a tuber saved - logo! Only the petiole scar on the Corm was oval instead of round.

Greeting
Hermann

You have indeed all somehow quite...

A tuber is not divided, a tuber is also no longer growing. She drives a maximum and then she will impose less (flower) or passes (page cycle).
Multiple eyes (by error or whatever) from the Corm should expel ÃœBER of the old Corm form however several tubers, one under each eye/sheet.
Pull off you have the genuine primary Cormels, which are although mostly smaller and thus recognizable, I had but 4 cm Oschis in hand, who were still shipping nabelt....
Gruß Thorsten
