Anchomanes oder nicht ?

Hello

I have bought me two Anchomanes seeds at Rareplants, both are most germinate.
Irritates me but that the first sheet of a look as I thought the paper of an Alocasia Anchomaneskeimlinge look like Amorphophallus keimlinge.
The seeds were approximately 2-3 cm long and 0.5 cm thick.
They were yellow brown.

Is it really a Anchomanes?

With kind regards
Stefan

Hi Stefan,

There also once I bought Anchomanessamen. Are germinated and were Anchomanes.
I do not believe that Mr Malkmus sold something else under the name....
Just grow and look at the follow-up sheets.

MfG,
Bernhard.

Hello

I will blame the Mr Malkmus also no fraud.
Perhaps he has made only an error when the package.
How looked the cotyledons of your Anchomanes for?
My look simply as already written like a sheet of Alocasia, or a Aronstabs.

Freundlichn yours
Stefan

Re: Anchomanes oder nicht ?

I thought Anchomaneskeimlinge look like Amorphophallus keimlinge.

Hi Stefan

The first sheet in my Anchomanesjungpflanzen is not looked definitely like Amorphophallus keimlinge but they had
the shape of a triangle. Until the second or third hand then had the correct form.

The seeds just looked like you are describing, I bought at Rareplants. All seeds germinated after four to eight weeks.

Hi Stefan,

zumTeil also, the problem is that even a dealer in the purchase before incorrectly declared seeds is immune.
Always a Farge of the reliability of the source, regardless of whether to buy the dealer or private person.

But rareplants I keep for reliable...

Perhaps you can set so a picture of the first and second hand.

MfG,
Bernhard.

Hello

the first sheet of my Anchomnes looked out into something like a Anthuriums - undivided. I can no longer accurately remember whether it was this first, or one of the following leaves. In any case, this sheet have been long undivided and has shared part. With advancing age and size, the plants only show their true nature. the Division takes place at the Entflaten in airy heights only listeners as if someone with razor blades overnight striates breaking point, which then blows up the growing tide.

I would assume that you actually have Anchomanes.
Oh do something: I can remember that the seeds will not were elongated and very green, no hard shell, also we have seen the place clearly at the would leave the seedlings.
Gruß Thorsten

BESTÄTIGUNG

Hello

I can imagine that the este irritated sheet of Anchomanes, but it is Anchomanes.

The first sheet is more reminiscent of Alocasia or other Araceae, but the next leaves look so as expected.

I know Björn Malkmus has long, bought my Anchomaes at him years ago, the seeds were of excellent quality and the plants have developed splendidly.

Greeting

Christian Treder
