I however don't know whether ioch be delighted, or to annoy, because the old leaf penetrates.
Is it normal?
I have cut off yesterday, a piece of the sheet and put him in perlite. Perhaps is still a new plant.
With kind regards
Stefan
Well I would worry me about it because the old leaves hold won't last forever even when the speeding tickets. As with all plants go she at some point hope on the Jordan.Ich you have a healthy and fresh new foliation???
Or about not?Otherwise, only the bulb helps control. :???:
MfG Volker
Hello

The old hand starting to wither since the new comes.
The new feed is growing at least quite well. He traut is even already out.
The bulb has certainly no harm.
Although... I would like to see, so I know how big it is...: blush2:... Whether I should?
Perhaps has a bad job really? : blush2:

Beautiful pictures!
I believe that my plants have made still no primary Cormels, yes also not greater than your copy. However, I have checked the tubers, not yet, I'll see it at the next repotting.
How moist the Dracontium in the Botanical Garden held actually? Were you in the water? When my I let stand namely always approx. 1 cm of water in the tray, but I do not know whether any Dracontium to tolerate that.
VG Philipp
Hello
This is a good question.
They were like on the picture to see, in addition to a large pool of water, but I don't think that they were directly in the water.
Do you think they get it?
About I did so far not worry me, because I thought it is anyway harmful for them.
To the primary Cormels, it looks as if my which would make.
But you are still fairly small.
With kind regards
Stefan
Some species of Dracontium are swamp plants and very well tolerated back wet, but I know just not exactly to what species it is. D. gigas seems in any case not to belong, which grows on normal Urwaldboden and not in swamps.
My plants are but constantly in the water, since I would have to otherwise very often pour, and have not complained so far yet. On the contrary, the roots grow even below from the pots and permeate the whole coaster.
Beyond our control try study I would say...
VG Philipp
Hello
as you can see a lot has happened since the last photo.
The tide has finally rid of the bracts and begin now with the Längenwachstum.

I have today even a little digging and found that the tuber looks very healthy.
In addition, has grown the tuber over the winter on approx 8 cm in diameter and has made a few strong roots.
The breeding methods of tubers are not continued to grow however.
With kind regards
Stefan
Wow, 8 cm in diameter can really look. Keep us up to date with the new hand, am curious about is how great!
VG Philipp
Hello
the new paper is only 10 cm of less now about 20 cm high, as the old one was high.
Because it is now fallen, it is still only yellow with little green.
This compensated but the new paper for everything.
I wonder how big it is still.
With kind regards
Stefan
Hello
the new paper is now 62 cm high.
The old is dead already.
The leaflets begin to unfold slowly, but it takes even some time until the leaf is fully unfolded.
She grew partially already 5 cm per day, between meals (probably by the relocation) she grew more slowly, but now it grows again 5 cm on the day.
I guess that the leaf will reach a final height of 70-90 cm.
With kind regards
Stefan
Nachdemich've seen I've set to ne gigas how much success you have with Dracontium me.
Now she ask which store tubers in the peat moss or plant equal.
LG Kevin
Hello
I have no experience with the camps.
But: Where have from you because your?
I have heard that just a few primary Cormels are what.
My way still unfolds your hand - how long it takes for yet?
With kind regards
Stefan

LG

Re: Pflege von Dracontium
Hello
now completely penetrates the plant.
I have over the summer they are out there had.
Only she got there probably no new roots. If they drive roots once, then no new grow more over the vegetation period. At my at least not.
What do you how I should store the bulb?
Wet or dry?
With kind regards
Stefan

Re: Pflege von Dracontium
Hello
the Dracontium gigas is unfortunately received.
It is rotten, probably because it was too dry.
It is really a pity therefore.
I have only D. amozonensis or polyphyllum.
Which is now as big as D. gigas then. Is but probably never as large as an adult.
With kind regards
Stefan
