A. lambii, A.ongsakulii
Hello
recently, I discovered pictures of Amorphophallus lambii and Amorphophallus ongsakulii.
The two ways I like very well and I would also like the two.
Perhaps any of you know where I could relate the two varieties.
With kind regards
Stefan
There, you will have probably bad cards to get these types.
Flower Scout and I have a A.lambii. I have purchased it by chance on eBay.com. You are really very rarely offered!
And they are not easy in culture now really!
My Lambii tuber is rotten by the transport of United States to D to 75%.
With good luck and charcoal powder, I could save them. It drives out now nicely. If I not thought. The bulb was already in the bin, but I have installed it just does not have the heart, to throw them away.
By the way, A.lambii is very sensitive to dehydration. If the soil is too dry, you can watch literally as it dries up.
Gruss Stephan
Thank you for the reply,
Perhaps your A. gets lambii a few primary Cormels I then maybe and hopefully and of course could buy from you at a good charge. I would like at least very if that were possible.
With kind regards
Stefan
Hi Stefan.
I disappoint that so reluctant, but am. lambii makes no primary Cormels. For this reason, this type is also so rare. I've got my plant at the time for my 16 birthday
(Seedling ca. 10 cm, price 18?).
Since then has developed into the plant well and is growing, since then I they in the balcony greenhouse with heating pad (thanks for the good idea of Stephan: ^ ^:) are have very well continue. Stephan and I get Vllt our Lambii's to the flower. Then we discard the pollen and if we are lucky we have seed lot;-)

This possible, of course, I would be but the A. suspect lambii, how the other exotic species in the area of Sumatra and Borneo produce no offspring.
A.titanum produces no. Is only a guess.
If it does, this will take a couple of years because she had lost Yes 75% of its substance.
Times, I will monitor the whole.
Gruss Stephan
Lambii - KEINE CHANCE !
Hi of guys,
I have also an A. lambii. This type is not to keep a professional greenhouse. If you have a professional greenhouse, Lambii would be but still a big problem. The art is simply nothing for the German country air.
My Lambii survived though, but actually increasing in size. Is probably only a matter of time until it arrives.
To do it Naja...versuchen as a Amorpho fan then indeed, but I've found: Lambii is simply nothing for the culture here in Germany.
Greeting - Chris
Hi Chris and welcome in the Forum.
My am. lambii stands in my balcony greenhouse in my room at 25-35Â ° C and 70% LF. Because I so cannot wait it, I've dug times times something on the side of the sheet and behold, it announces already the 4th leaf itself.
Mit grünen Grüßen
Niels
Hello
with A. ongsakulii has done, I get probably one, or perhaps more, in the autumn of this year.
This gives to buy A. lambii but rarely but still annoys me.
With kind regards
Stefan
Hello
Since you arrived a few minutes too late, I've discovered the auction shortly before your message, but still thank you.
However, I am of the opinion that the tuber looks not too good, what do you?
With kind regards
Stefan
Looks good. Since you had need to see my:??:
Well, so my then already a bit healthier looks;-)
Enid seems to have a robust inventory of A. lambii, as you can see it offers to which really regularly on eBay. Would be times interesting to know whether it has been used times of seeds or whether the lambii perhaps time is the one or the other breeding Knöllchen.
MfG Philipp
Hello
I think that the tuber it sold has a Cormel as links on the tuber a bump that could come from the "poor" where primary Cormels sit is to see.
Last year such protrusions were at least on my konjak Cormels to see.
With kind regards
Stefan
