Erfolgreiche Kultur von Bulbifer ?

Hello

has someone over significant time A. cultivated bulbifer successfully?
For me the plants have entered so far always after pushing out after a while.
:?:
This concerns both the seedlings and tubers. : cry:

I have problem with A. muelleri herself. Great beads. Exodus after 6 weeks or so.

Regards, Thorsten

Hi Thorsten,

I've can harvest Yes a tuber of my last year's sowing and I hope your experience is not a bad omen.

Because:

The bulb had begun their central bud slowly to increase something when they suddenly dried up.
Shortly thereafter (1 week) 2 Austriebe were on the side of the Corm. Now, I have buried the tuber as already root approaches were. Let's see what happens next.

have a healthfully for two years and more since the beginning of 2005. Worked so far actually always quite well. Plants that I believe in the open air had however not very good growth.

I do not they particularly care actually.

Hi Thorsten,

So I have moved that from seed (this year), they grow up with me already the fourth leaf as some bokommen crazy,.
I am amazed already. Hardly a sheet is done and nicely grown, it takes two maybe three weeks, here comes the next larger! I have the impression that these plants simply do what they want, that seems to be a real game of chance!

My old A. bulbifer has formed a screen about 15 cm high.
Which is much smaller than the old screen, but the bulb was also messed (unförmig, probably partially torn or blown up). I'm happy to move if I now manage a new clean tuber.

So my only problem with A.bulbifer is that the plant has burn marks:? I think I would rather leave with spraying the leaves next year: wink:
Can one tell me whether A.bulbifer is capable of carrying enough photosynthesis to get the bulb 10 cm or more? Every 3 weeks they get blue grain and are treated with liquid fertilizer every week. Things no negative incidents.
Mit grünen Grüßen

@ Steffen

I've lost some tubers in the past two years by rot, millipedes (?) and unknown causes which finally showed in the crime/rotting of the plant. Since I worked with regular potting soil and some Seramis.
Some tubers were muddy or dried up when the supply to, others drove out and are then verfault, very strange.

This year the plants at the bud are healthier, i.e. I lost no plant, who wanted to expel.
Otherwise, I did only one thing: the substrate Earth consists only of 50%, the rest is perlite. Seramis not comes with me in, because otherwise the water in the substrate remains rather than swiftly to expire.

The Earth is wet, it must be the warmer so that no rot. I have planted my Amorphos already in April/May, but almost not cast. This has perhaps helped - they are not dried then could but also does not rot.

Let's see whether I this year further positive can report the leaf screens have now at least super (ca 20 latecomers are missing...) and the warm days have helped incredibly the expulsion.
Gruß Thorsten
