Mein bestes Stück

Hi,.

Early January I've won an unusual eBay auction, it was auctioned a bloom-enabled Corm of Amorphophallus erythrorrhachis. That is probably better known as A. sp. Nov. "Madagascar" and was described in 2006. On the photos of the Amorpho gurus (see http://aroid.org/genera/amorphophallus/erythrorrhachis/) it looks indeed very cute, but really hewn from the stool have me the photos of the provider:icon_eek:

Image was deleted from the ebay Server

Now, I hope of course that the provider has sent me the same clone and my bulb also flourishing in this horny colouring. In a few weeks the whole will enlighten itself, I have brought the tuber on Sunday from the cellar and noticed even a modest growth.

MfG Philipp

Such a crap, I was cold on the table moved: Pirates:

The stupid cow sent paeoniifolius a tuber of A. me, which had only recently bought by a Thai eBay seller! I resent me whopping on these Sch * e, but most of my own naivety. The whole thing was the fact:

I see this offer and the tuber will immediately have it at all costs what it wants. I get up at a time when inhumane so extra, ersteigere me at the last minute at a price that I have never paid for a plant, this thing and get also a beautiful large tuber. My first thought when unpacking the Corm: "Hmm, that looks almost like a Paeoni out!". But who naïvely, as I'm realized, I think nothing of it and give a good review of the provider. As I but closer watched the tubers photos on aroid.org me, I was somewhat puzzled. And browsing the assessment profile of the provider then the shock:
I gave exactly the $150-Knolle in hand, the is this person for $20 from Thailand left!:icon_explode: :icon_explode:

But now everything is of course too late: the assessment already made, the 60-day eBay complaint period already elapsed. Also considers the provider is not necessary to reply to my messages.

This shows once again that plant freaks are better people No and it should remove his rose-colored glasses rather than real people. The provider is registered under the name "neodana" and is called Dana Harris, are so careful if she offer what interesting again.

Oh what, don't worry!
I'm infested for over 10 years of plant addiction, and it could change anything until now nothing and no one. All with the pumpkins from the Grandma started, then came the full Karnivoren and now I have by the way a few interesting Araceae. In the course of time I had to take so much, but in such situations I must view only plants me, which I already have and already doing better me again:D
As long as I am fascinated from Amorphophallus, I have fun at these plants, material things are then no longer so important.

But still it's very annoying when $150 (about 114?) easy to at once are gone. 10 Days for nothing worked, so it's fun to be trainee really...
That is why I would warn you explicitly, are just not as stupid as I!

Hi Philip,.

How have you identified the bulb?

I have just looked on ebay and unfortunately was to see the photo at postthailand, not more.

Was it clearly the bulb?

Drives out already? Flower or leaf?

Keep may be a photo us once to date....

I have also about two months ago an Amorphophallus krauseii for just $1 acquired in the above shop assistant.
I was already shocked when I heard about the shipping costs. But still, I paid the plant.

The worst meaning however I till today nothing of the plant got to see or hear.

I have consulted also where the bulb for remains, got only the response from a friend of the shop assistant, that she would be in the hospital and she once it is able to do so would send the tuber me.
Now I learned also that she now no Member is more at E-Bay.
My last question was not answered.

With kind regards
Stefan

Da probably more annoying customer is freaked out: mad:

But seriously, it's really amazing, what logs on everything on eBay. Some eBay user operate a commercial "überdentischzieh" mesh and "rip" where it gets.
