Schorsch, congratulations on the double flower!

Have you weighed times your tubers before and after flowering?
My has weighed in the fall about 3.4 kg (OK, maybe even 100 g hung off dirt and dead roots) and after flowering now about 2. So a good kilo of weight lost. On the bottom, it has become a bit wrinkled as a raisin.

Is this about normal?

Our flower bulb last year weighed 500 g in the autumn 580 g, before flowering and after flowering 350 g. Around 30% seem to be probably normal.

I understand, why you then would kick you with tuber!

My is now in exile in the broom closet!
And not just because my better half has already threatened to process the stinker for potato soup, but because the part stinks as I had a dead cow behind the couch for months!

So beautiful it is, but the "perfume" is Kinky!

The flower of the 13.5 kg tuber has become "Unfortunately" only 2.15 m tall. Da more it would have been, but I will not complain times... the first two konjac flowers at all equally well over 2 meters, as can I really complain:D

haha... I need also a broom closet as emergency plan! but mine still not nearly have the fighting they need. a little more than 300 g must be seeeeeeehr long aufgepeppelt until she persuade to flourish.

The two Monsterblühten look really great as you stand there so next to each other. 13.5 Kg bulb is now significantly larger in comparison.

My A. konjaks are far from a flower, barely shoots: the "sleep" all have
again it will drive much too late in the year:icon_slash:

When the sleep now sinds probably leaf shoots, which are off easily later. If you want to do to something, I'd pick up the tubers in the warm and fill some soil or sand into the 'shoots 'crater, maybe very minimal moisture keep the whole thing.

they are in the warm, I überwintere they always at room temperature, with flowering were my two major A. dran(dieses Jahr hätte ich ohnehin nur mit 1 blühenden Konjak gerechnet da eine der beiden konjaks keine Treibspitze hatte und 2012 nicht ausgetrieben ist somit einiges an Gewicht verloren hat,) konjaks always quite late
but maybe you're right and there is wirklcih no konjak bloom this year, finally also this tuber has held last year removed something increased. Should I be right without flowers they force your hand hopefully times earlier and not only when half summer is already around
the shoot is still quite small at the moment to say whether leaf or flower

The 10kg tuber has repelled the pedicel now as first with its 2.25 m flower. Yet ordinary 7 kg it weighs... hopefully it pushes even a leaf this year:D

This is the first number after weight we have noticed, we thought the number right next to it.
Clearly, it could bring a tuber of 1450 g to 10 kg, but when for example a 5 kg bulb, the probability is higher, that could bring it with same fertilization to 15 kg.

After I had transferred my small and medium-sized konjacs two weeks ago, tuber with the formerly 2, 25 m blossom on the series the day before yesterday was the 7 kg. I could offer only a 90 litre pot 45 cm in diameter you, since I have only a 135 l bucket there and this one is intended for the 10 kg tuber. Even the 10 kg will follow in the next few days, then would all konjacs getopft!
I almost forgot it... try I cut out all other, larger eyes in the Corm of 7 kg. Let's see if it does. I left unchanged dei 10 kg tuber.

What do you think the tubers may be how big? After all, the growing season is shorter than last year...
