Hello Oldi,.
I don't know how long it then clearly takes on konjac.
Maxwellii is but quite quickly if the leaf is light green and then yellowish.
Since the konjac specialists must ran now...
Happy growing, Bernhard.

Hello together,

so, my biggest A. konjac tuber has retracted itself and I have dug them out. It has a diameter of ~ 19 cm and a weight of 2286g.

Compared to the fall of 2009, the bulb had only ~ 10 cm in diameter and a weight of ~ 300 g.

Hi Oldi,.

Unfortunately, I have since no data. She had 2010 not in the pot cultivated but directly in the substrate in the garden. Was not very successful and the tuber was slightly larger and only slightly heavier than in autumn 2009. but powerful many daughter tuber had formed.

This year I had used it again in a large container for mortar and heavily fertilized. Result: little daughter tuber (4 pieces) and a massive increase in the Corm.

Hmm, okay, I have indeed also implanted two 300 g tubers in the spring and am already looking forward to how much that will have. But certainly not as much as your:icon_wink2:
What is the diameter of the bulb and the Austriebes (the more detailed area around the Austriebspsitze around)?

Hi
My planted out Konjacs have barely grown. The tubers have roughly doubled from 3-4cm to 7-10cm. Due to the wet summer much was however also not particularly fertilized. Daughter nodules were still abundantly made, hopefully freeze the not discovered minis and drive not from me next year.:icon_mad_GREEN:
Viele Grüße Walter

@ ascleps: very chic Konjac tuber you have there:icon_respekt:

Since I must cultivate probably 1-2 years, eh my bulb has reached the size:icon_blush_ORG:

My konjak is still always remains green at a Südfenster.

Hi Shreck,.

Thank you:

I think I have given too little in particular fertilizer in the past two years and this year I have dunged really every 2-3 weeks with liquid fertilizers. And the large container for mortar has had apparently positive effect. :)

Hello

One of my two tubers would not cast out this year. The leaf bud remains always the same size, instead a mini flower formed from a second smaller bud. It is just 3 cm high but unfortunately it has not opened up and is already back most die off. Have the tuber now put to the Hibernate in the cool cellar.
The second bulb will not even collect your hand. It is always still out there and I hope that has been enough time to make but still a nice tuber as it is driven out until mid August.

Many greetings
Roland

Hi,.

the large tuber had the 60/65L bucket type this year. Next year she gets also the 90L of bucket.

Hmm, well, my two tubers have had this year also really too much space. The large buckets were intended for next year more:D
Since I this year at the konjacs with fertilizers not have exaggerated it, I reckon with a large increase.

My bulb which had just launched this season, has decided now seemingly to start. At least... super timing arrived the tip on the substrate surface now so just before'm shortest day of the year. :D I hope times the tuber exaggerates's despite the bad lighting conditions with the sheet, because the space is in short supply actually even without the cellulose.:icon_help: :D

The development was headed then erstmal so slowly that the sheet is not yet unfolded. In this respect I am escaped so far still very happy. :D We schaun times, maybe the early bud with a längereren season in effect has even a positive influence...

However I have still the problem that the pot is somewhat tight, which is why I the plant, if them because times for outdoor hikes, would like to repot. Has a trick you might one, as when I get to the nem 30 l pot for the plant as possible gentle?

Moin HerrR,

difficult matter...
I would probably wait until the pot is well durchwurzelt and put the pot on the side, and beat on the edge of the pot in the direction of base of a pot, to solve the root ball of the pot.

Good luck wishes
Bernhard.

In 2-3, the roots of the pot should be Yes sufficiently completed months. I would have tried it first with press, but I recorded hitting well on the list of options. In the worst case I werd cut the pot and I hope that from handling of the root ball is not breaking apart me, but that is when the larger pots Yes something rather annoying...

That I must again repot the tuber, was from the outset clear... would I been smart, I would have planted the tuber with substrate in a bag into the pot, but the good ideas are always only if it's too late.:D

Hab grad mal measured by scoring highly (pot 160) is 130 cm... rough. The "branches" need to lie down but still. Even if the page is not yet ready now, it seems overall noticeably asparagus side than the emergence in the field... but until now not as bad as I had feared.

My two biggest A.konjak are already faded.
Which makes me wonder they have flourished as early as they are very late-driven and until mid August fully develop your hand have.
Have purity taken them then before the Frost came where they stayed green for some time. Were yellow but by law low temperature and too little light. Therefore, the a knolle has hardly increased, and the second even something taken off.
A Cormel would drive already. Also a tuber which is driven from 2010 only in autumn and is indented in the spring of 2011. Drift to sleep until now, now she wants her hand. I look but that I there something out zögere because my Windows are unfortunately all full.
