Hello Oldi,.
I don't know how long it then clearly takes on konjac.
Maxwellii is but quite quickly if the leaf is light green and then yellowish.
Since the konjac specialists must ran now...

Hello together,

so, my biggest A. konjac tuber has retracted itself and I have dug them out. It has a diameter of ~ 19 cm and a weight of 2286g.



Compared to the fall of 2009, the bulb had only ~ 10 cm in diameter and a weight of ~ 300 g.

Hi Oldi,.

Unfortunately, I have since no data. She had 2010 not in the pot cultivated but directly in the substrate in the garden. Was not very successful and the tuber was slightly larger and only slightly heavier than in autumn 2009. but powerful many daughter tuber had formed.

This year I had used it again in a large container for mortar and heavily fertilized. Result: little daughter tuber (4 pieces) and a massive increase in the Corm.

What is the diameter of the bulb and the Austriebes (the more detailed area around the Austriebspsitze around)?

My planted out Konjacs have barely grown. The tubers have roughly doubled from 3-4cm to 7-10cm. Due to the wet summer much was however also not particularly fertilized. Daughter nodules were still abundantly made, hopefully freeze the not discovered minis and drive not from me next year.:icon_mad_GREEN:

I think I have given too little in particular fertilizer in the past two years and this year I have dunged really every 2-3 weeks with liquid fertilizers. And the large container for mortar has had apparently positive effect. :)

Hello

One of my two tubers would not cast out this year. The leaf bud remains always the same size, instead a mini flower formed from a second smaller bud. It is just 3 cm high but unfortunately it has not opened up and is already back most die off. Have the tuber now put to the Hibernate in the cool cellar.
The second bulb will not even collect your hand. It is always still out there and I hope that has been enough time to make but still a nice tuber as it is driven out until mid August.

How much volume in liters had Mörtelkürbel of your konjac Corm? Got my tubers this year namely in 90 l pots:D

My bulb which had just launched this season, has decided now seemingly to start. At least... super timing arrived the tip on the substrate surface now so just before'm shortest day of the year. :D I hope times the tuber exaggerates's despite the bad lighting conditions with the sheet, because the space is in short supply actually even without the cellulose.:icon_help: :D

difficult matter...
I would probably wait until the pot is well durchwurzelt and put the pot on the side, and beat on the edge of the pot in the direction of base of a pot, to solve the root ball of the pot.

My two biggest A.konjak are already faded.
Which makes me wonder they have flourished as early as they are very late-driven and until mid August fully develop your hand have.
