Diskussionen zum Steckbrief

Hello!

Since I had long time only A. konjak and now wants to expand my collection I am sitting quite long before the computer and tried to bring useful information to me about my new types.
Nearly impossible! To get a plan I've entered a type into a search engine and all plant descriptions together copied. For eg. Is Bulbifer for a description of "store in 20 ° c in the winter in no way". In the next description is cool store. : mad: Who knows of danoch? : help:

I hope you like my idea:
A profile of which is the most important "issues" together would be veeery goße help! I have considered just what might be good to know me and this introduction came out (if I've forgotten what important please tell):

Personal stats:
Name:
Origin:
Climate zone:
Substrate:
Colour:
Winter temperature:
Winter storage:
Multiplication:
Growth:

Now, my request - to those who have successfully refined their species over long periods of time - would fill out these cards (even if you know not everything). I am very grateful to anyone who helps!

Profile # 1:
Name: A. konjac (Synonyms: A. rivieri;) (Devil's tongue, lacrimal tree, Konjac)
Origin: South-East Asia
Climate zone:?
Substrate: well-drained soil
Colour: Brown Red
Winter temperature: anti-freeze - cool
Winter storage: dry
Propagation: Cormels, seeds
Growth: large

It may be that some profiles for the same plant will be different. But if the plant was cultivated already more successfully with the different methods we know the whole maintenance area where nothing should go wrong;-)

I would very hope that this small "project" which is sounded to find! And thank you in the hineinen where participating here (especially to the tubers coming in inexperienced hands a surviving to allow;-))!

Greetings
Theresa

Re: Steckbrief

Moin
Not so bad, I think the profiles the idea by Theresa mmit.
So, you could find open many details of various stinker.
However, it be better if one puts up an own unterforum for it.
I think that it is possible with powerful schreibunterstützung from Forum members,
to create such an informative site.

Re: Steckbrief

Hi Theresa,.
have also been a few years more or less successfully konjacs and a failed trial with paeonifolius and can only confirm your experience!
The idea is very good!
Personally Yes the Galloway giant would interest me the most, but I fear this is rather a myth:??:

Re: Steckbrief

Hi,.
There are to do this already, so a few hits but nothing concrete! Maybe I should check times directly with Alan Galloway....
I have just seen that you offer at the moment very many tubers on ebay!
I guess times that you are this;-)
IH've planned actually last year also that was then but too lazy and now balls in the basement of rum!
Would you like to exchange a konjac with me perhaps? May have we indeed slightly different varieties? Sauromatum venosum I'd also have to offer.

Re: Steckbrief

Hi schirmbaum,

If you mean the many konjak offers, Yes, I'm;-)
You can't have a few konjaks from me! Flower is my profile picture and here is still a picture of a tribe for post them with your comparisons:

Is just a normal form. Currently, I am glad about each konjak off coming because I already suffer from lack of space.

Because the profiles I'm considering whether I have a google.docs (or how that is to say) create table. This is like an excel file that can watch everyone on the net. And whenever anyone who can tell what a kind I write about this information. So far contains the table but only name and place of origin.

Greeting
Theresa

Re: Diskussionen zum Steckbrief

Hi SleipnirHH,

Thanks for the Forum!

I made the above mentioned google docs table. In which I will add the info that I get through the profiles. Then everyone well copy out the line of the species which he has himself and paste it into an Excel. There it can then good by origin, ABC or this map!
I have name origin and colour of the aroid page. If a few flower colors not quite agree please do not just accept that I;-) color blind Sometimes, the pictures were something to sprüchlich.
I have the rest period from 2 tables that ghosts around here in the Forum.
Substrate and temperature in the vegetative phase I have entered what I've read out page from the culture description of Aroid. As probably a lot must be improved.

Here the table:
"<!-m--> < a class href="http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0Ar61bsQKQPj_dEpES25UWF9QczZrblo5bDkwcEZLOFE = "post link" & hl = en "> http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=... LOFE & hl = en < /a > <!-m->

If what is wrong please do not hesitate to tell me:D

Theresa

Re: Diskussionen zum Steckbrief

Hi Theresa,.

Thank you, that you make the many work with the profiles of you!
Unfortunately I can invest as much time...

As a note for the google table:
Still, it should be distinguished whether the tubers in dry substrate or slightly damp substrate should be stored.
To do this, compare the "newer" evidence of Wilbert Hetterscheid (translation in the middle of the page):
<!-l--> < a class = "post link-local" href="http://www.amorphophallus-forum.de/viewtopic.php?f=12 & t = 138" > viewtopic.php? f = 12 & t = 138 < /a > <!-l->

In a hurry,.
Bernhard.

Great, looks very good! Can you enable also an AutoFilter?

I would have more suggestions for additional columns:
a categorization with regard to level of difficulty would be interesting: eg.
konjac very easy;
paoniifolius more difficult
Titanium very difficult
etc.

also a categorisation on size would be important; Proposal:
tiny,.
small,.
medium e.g. konjac
large, eg gigas, paonii
huge eg titanium

and opportunities of the attitude in our eg.: can; held in the summer outdoors canopy required; Cold / Warmhaus required, etc.

Re: Diskussionen zum Steckbrief

Hi!

@ Mr.. Titanum:
I have ever used the link you sent me on my table. There're eh only species that need it moist in the resting period listed, right?

@ schirmbaum:
No, AutoFilter cannot accept it unfortunately. It is a very "castrated" form is similar to, but rather Excel.
Eh, the category with the size, I have the column growth (last column) in which is what the plant is or can be entered.

In the categories which I have chosen so far, I have taken rather which where the answers may already in the net buzzing around.
Can I on add one for the difficulty yet. (Where as the spirits may be divorced.) (Some species one like weeds proliferate and end the other as mud.)
Am I on add one site even.

If someone has time and desire to help me at the table using the enlisting and account has a Google text and tables I can forgive the rights for the cancellation:D

Hi Theresa,.

Yes, is true; in the mail that was sent by Wilbert Hetterscheid beginning of the aroid-L, he has his frühenren recommendations, also in Aroideana vol.. 19 are described, clearly corrects.
BTW, angolensis is one also.
Perhaps you could replace "imSubstrat" google table in the "in slightly moist substrate", so that everybody knows exactly what is meant thereby.

Thank you again for your use!

LG,
Bernhard.
