Hello
at cold temperatures, the root stop their work and die off. Bulbifer needs higher ground temperatures as such as konjac. If there is no place because you can take the tubers out of the ground the leaves cut off and dry the bulb on the heating up of the restl. Petiole is dried and can be removed. Then, the tuber at room temperature (18° - 20°) is winters.

I would grow the plant in any case in the apartment to a bright window, if you now consider it the negative consequences with regard to size and quality of the Corm has.
I also have two block a window bulbifer, but you need just their time to mature.

But that cut off I would have ever installed does not have the heart. The question was rather cold - or hot so that she realizes that the summer is over. I am a bit concerned that the speeding tickets will adapt to winter to grow;-)
