Die Aufbewahrung der Knolle.

Good day! In the enthusiasm of your forum.
Two days back has good amorphophallus bought from Tajlanda.
He was dug out on the edge of the forest by the sea in the rocks.
It is not known. Like you, where is the tuber better to preserve?
In the refrigerator at + 4. Or in the pot with the moist peat with + 20?
With kind regards,
Andrej.

Re: Die Aufbewahrung der Knolle.

Hi Andrei,

certainly not at 4 â ° C and if moist peat with 20 â ° C is favorable, is also doubtful; many types of Thailand should better dry during the rest period (in dry substrate or simply without substrate in a pot) be stored, to avoid rotting.
As the tuber has no roots and no growing bud, I would probably dry store them.
Perhaps someone else knows better Council.

Happy growing,
Bernhard.
