Kälteverträglichkeit von A. hewittii und A. titanum

Hi,.

After my Amorphophallus konjac surprised me in the third growing season using a sheet of 1.40 m wide, the Amorpho fever has packed finally me and I laid me unceremoniously still a large tuber of A. paeoniifolius, a plug by A. hewittii and 5 seeds of A. titanum to. The A. hewittii and A. I once put in a tropical terrarium Karnivoren, there the hewittii titanum a verweichlichtes plant from an Indonesian culture plant and according to the best germination conditions have titanum seeds in the Terra of I think.

Next year I'll build also a large heated greenhouse me, to provide good conditions at least in the first years of the Amorphos and also some other rarities. To do so I was wondering but what temperatures A. hewittii and titanum keep A.. Need necessarily 25 â ° C in the growing season or enough to just 20 â ° C in combination with much sunlight?

I had heated my greenhouse to minimum 13°C this winter. When the plants are not too wet it tolerated.

They do however no longer growing.

Thank you for your info, the monster Stinker seem to be Yes somewhat more robust than I had suspected. Only the cultural overview of the botanical gardens of Bonn has prepared some concerns me, because these plants there are represented as extreme sensitive soul.
One more question by the way: what are the usual rates for small seedlings by A. titanum? Is it justified to $ 50?

well, they are not quite as unproblematic. Is a tuber way gefault me 3 weeks ago half (maybe now already quite?). The leaf was half yellow and the bulb has to be lazy started at the Blatansatz. Why? No idea. I think $ 50 is justified. I had times in the best case for EUR 50. If you come on seed, I can also recommend that. Germination is actually quite reliable.

Hi,.

is of course clear that can be still quite unpredictable to me, but I have made the biggest concerns me because the temperature because that is connected for me with the greatest effort.

I asked the question about the price because I have found only two suppliers of young plants (both United States) and therefore not neutral could compare. One of the suppliers sent even without Phytosanitäres advice (which is very expensive in the other), so I decided to purchase a such seedling. I know I still have the seeds, but I wanted to make just really sure that I have enough material for the permanent culture of this type...

na then everything is clear;).

But you know that you can get problems at customs if no phyto this is. If it is striking that it is a consignment of plants. Open 80% of packages to control of the experience. Also, no earth it cannot be what is generally the cost of the sheet at the shipping time. I want you as do not fear but the import from non-EU countries is often not so easy.

Kuck dir mal to the thread here.

Customs problems

If you have not yet ordered you to write on also me friend, maybe I can offer cheaper the plants you than you now with Porto bezahlts.

Mist, already too late:(

However, it seems to be not always the case. I am indeed very intensive with insectivorous (carnivorous plants) and know because some people already successfully with Americans have swapped that or have ordered plants in America. In the Fleischis, the ungetopfte shipping is but also not nearly as problematic...

I think I have just amaze me and hope that it reasonably well...
Soo it has become not at all expensive. With free shipping, it was while 68 USD, but due to the favourable exchange rate, I had to 'only' 54? pay, i.e. If I would have found a European provider I would probably have a similar amount.

MfG Philipp

P.S.: Thank you for your bid! If all else fails (including seeds are nothing) I will like to come back!

na that listens to good. I have paid so much already only for the shipping costs. Perhaps you make on the packages only when it is declared. If it is unobtrusive it slide by maybe even so. Write yes times how it went. Would be interested in me. Good luck to.

Of course, I write how it went, it shall have also a what.

Who's interested: I ordered the plant at Brian's Botanicals . Pretty loaded with many extremely interesting offers, perhaps a collective purchase order in question (assuming of course that with me now everything works out) would be because indeed times.
The other shop was called plant delights nursery and has an overwhelming offer, but high costs.
