Amorphophallus ID

Hello,

it is sometime that i read this forum but just suscribed, I'm from Italy but do not speak German only English.

I grow orchids since many years but Aroids since only 2 years, and when I started I bought on ebay and I'm pretty shure that some of them are mislabelled, can you please help me in labelling in the proper way:

let's start from this labelled A. bulbifer (from pictures on internet does not seems the right one), this bulb has grow a lot in 2 years:



a detail from leaves it is quite peculiar and different from other Amorphophallus:



this is a small bulbifer but the leaf is very similar to the big one:

Here is what i think :



let's start from this labelled A. bulbifer (from pictures on internet does not seems the right one), this bulb has grow a lot in 2 years:

Looks like Sauromatum venosum


this is a small bulbifer but the leaf is very similar to the big one:
The bulb looks like Sauromatum venosum, but the leaf looks like another species, maybe a Typhonium species?

Again, the bulb looks like Sauromatum venosum, but the leaf looks like another species, maybe a Typhonium species? Is the picture of the leaf from the bulb in the first picture?


2 Amorphophallus paeonifolius already digged out took a picture of the bulbs just out of the pot

Amorphophallus paeonifolius still green leaf is different from others
This could be Amorphophallus paeoniifolius


this year I have sown Amorphophallus titanum (hope this is not mislabelled)
It is just putting a second leaf what do you suggest? do I have to try to extend growing period or not?
This looks like Amorphophallus titanum. When seeding Amorphophallus the second leaf can come when the first leaf is still there.


Those are some bulbe that a friend of mine from Puglia gave me he digged it out during a work in his olive trees:
Arum species, but impossible to tell which one without close-up of the male/female flower parts

@Fabrizio : Can you show us some better closeups from the A. titanum ???

Iam not shure,that is it A. titanum. For identification, i need some better closeups from the stem.

The stem of A. titanum should looks like shown on this picture :

Amorphophallus titanum

Hello,

pictures from A. titanum seedling, stem is almost green with some lighter very small spot but it is the first leaf, second leaf is growing

Hi Fabrizio,

how is the titanum doing? I hope it is still alive - maybe you could post new pictures.....

This is for sure a titanum, because it has the typical "leathery" glossy leaf and it's shape; the almost green petiole is typical for young plants as well. the light green to nearly white spots of the leaf pattern develop when the plant gets older.
