Planted about 100 Konjac offsets - every one is the normal pink and black colour. This one has a pale yellow petiole. The leaves are much narrower than the other Konjacs.

Another picture of my original pale yellow seedling.

And I have just discovered another pale yellow seedling growing in a pot occupied by a normal coloured Konjac.

A better picture.

The mother plant is on the left. The yellow offset is in the middle. A pink one with small black markings is on the right.

Hi MoMo,

if you are lucky the trait is stable and you have a new konjak-variety:

'MoMo's Pale Fairy' :ops:

Good growing,
Bernhard.

Hi Bernhard

Fingers crossed that they are stable and will wait and see what happens next year. From one mother plant I have had 2 'Pale Fairies' and a 1 cm offset produce a 5cm Inflorescence - all previous years the mother plant has produced normal offsets!
