Knollen aus Thailand bei Ebay

Hello

have a question once again. Does anyone know the seller Thailandplant? Have seen some eerie images (Green A. with tuber, roots and Earth? - eg.: http://cgi.ebay.at/2-Bulbs-AMORPHOPHALLU…%3A1|240%3A1318 )--> This is still good for the plant? )
Review does look good. What does it say?

For me, the Amorphophallus fever has broken out! : hot:

Happy new year! : party:

Re: Knollen aus Thailand bei Ebay

What exactly is the problem?
You need to understand, for the Thais are the most Amorphophallen weeds that grow behind the House in moderation and that be kloppte a few Europeans merely also still wish to have. There is not much around gehätschelt, but biomass implemented in Geldmasse. The plants actually quite well forgive such treatment because of the relatively large energy reserves of the tuber. Some leave their A. konjacs, which does not want to collect, yes also out there, until the tide away friert them. Is no less "brutal".

To thailandplant I can only say that time ordered and goods was absolutely ok. Today I would not buy that, because the prices have changed in the "fantasy sector".

As a tip for your Amorphophallus fever I can give you on the way: Ãœbertreibs not and use your brain. This actually applies to most things in this world;-)

Hi Eva,.

not to mention that I think "fresh from the forest" is not good I would have a few concerns:
-the tuber with nematodes or other diseases can be affected directly from the open
-A. sp. can be a rarity, or a relatively normal way that you can get here cheaper, easier, and may be healthier
-If you order now, the tuber arrives in the middle of winter here and you should not expose a tropical tuber minus degrees.

I would advise you to your Amorpho fever: you once make a list of all kinds that you like and the paint off the you for various reasons (size, Ãœberwinterung in substrate heat needs,...) can not cultivate. From the rest of search dir for's first durable species, where you will have more joy. Losing a cumbersome and expensive acquired tuber is still painful an a. konjak...;-)

... and the instructions for care in ebay always enjoy with caution!

LG,
Martina

My problem would be, if then there is the tuber at the fantasy price if they were previously simply pulled out and choppy. That the Thais are not dear to the Amorphos sure makes me not to sleep.:D

Wanted not a lot of tubers shopping, but turn on brain sure is not an error. Werd malso as recommended by Martina proceed.

Thank you

The so called A.spp with the elongated Corm is likely to be the A.longituberosus and belongs in the Replenisher category. ;-) The white even what he has to offer. : mad:

However, I do order no wild excavations from Thailand.:motz:

Must be Yes not logituberosus.

A.elatus has also a long tuber. He sold other species which have an oblong-shaped bulb. I had also ordered that and had no problems. I have that I bought a A.muellerii bulb. I was positively surprised about the seller...

Re: Knollen aus Thailand bei Ebay

I have ordered me now but at the dealer tubers. However smaller to better price, he has offered to me on my request. Here the image of 4 tuber, perhaps you are interested in someone. Paid I have 43 euro now for everything.

http://www.thaipostsell.com/ebay_2009/OT…HOPHALLUS-1.jpg

Very well, I found the 5. tuber (a small Atrovirdis) as a gift. Highly recommended, I find the dealer. Whether he is pretty good I can not say because I am only at the beginning of my Amorphosammlung and purchases. The tubers were in very good condition, the delivery time was a good week.

I hope think me mad now for complete - I have the tubers with an old weak Electr. Toothbrush rubbed off and this were discovered at the Koratensis two not quite fixed places. After I've scratched with the nail, I discovered something that looked like rotten wood. (Question: might a dried sewage authority?) Just in case, I've removed the two small places so that nothing, if they are allowed into the ground, further can spread. I do hope I have made no nonsense. But let's see what it is.

A dear greeting to all.

Hello Eva
Litter some charcoal powder through the authorities and let it dry off.
Otherwise, have fun with the tubers. ;-)

Re: Knollen aus Thailand bei Ebay

Thank you for the information. I am now really proud of me, because I already did it. First I've leave the bodies to a night dry, and then - now is probably really funny for you: my mother (former nurse) said it could not hurt apply some Wundesin for disinfection. It is the Wundesin no matter where it is applied, it kills off all germs and bacteria. :D Well, then I've rubbed with charcoal, so far it looks good, not schrumpelig and not soft. Hope it stays in the ground so.

Dear greeting
Eva
