Hi Fabrizio, Here is what i think : let's start from this labelled A. bulbifer (from pictures on internet does not seems the right one), this bulb has grow a lot in 2 years: a detail from leaves it is quite peculiar and different from other Amorphophallus: Looks like Sauromatum venosum this is a small bulbifer but the leaf is very similar to the big one: The bulb looks like Sauromatum venosum, but the leaf looks like another species, maybe a Typhonium species? typhonium venosum indian giant Agai...

I indeed used very small cuttings, my titanums are not so big so a big cutting is impossible. I think you are right, in the 2008 paper in aroideana they use rather big cuttings. This could be why I was unsuccesfull. Maarten

I have also propagated some species by leaf cutting. I have tried maxwellii, yuloensis, gigas, titanum and glossophyllus. Only with titnum I could not get it to work, all the others went fine, but not 100% of the cutting would root. As a substrate i used 75% compost + 25% perlite, and I did not use any root powder. I take the cuttings and then place them in a small propagator to keep the humidity high, and keep them out of direct sunlight in a bright place. I think the succes depends not only on...
