I am searching for Amorphophallus paeoniifolius Thai Giant. Have any members got this beauty and if so, would you be prepared to ship to the UK. Thanks in advance

I moved your request to the "search" section.... ;-)

I do not have that clone - PDN in the US used to have it ( https://www.plantdelights.com/products/a…-thailand-giant ), but not any more.

Maybe someone here in the forum might have it, let alone that I doubt that it grows so big under our conditions; maybe with extra assimilation light in winter...

I do not want to loose you here in the forum but you might have more luck in the international Facebook group; they have an extra "swap and sell" group as well (I am not at fb...); search for "facebook amorphophallus group" (it's the group with 8000+ members) and "facebook amorphophallus group swap and sell"

Hi Bernhard,

I have been searching for the Thai Giant for a few years now, I have also posted on the Facebook groups you mentioned as I have been a member of those for a long time now. Such a shame that Alan Galloway is no longer with us Another elusive plant I am trying to track down is Brassiopsis Mitis, not often available in the UK but readily available in France and the Netherlands but due to Brexit, they will not ship, our government have a lot to answer for!

Hi Martin,

since Alan had that clone in his collection the clone might be still around in the US.
I guess that David Livingston in the US has now one of the biggest collections; you might ask him; maybe he would ship an offset to the UK if he has that clone...
At ebay he is phytometric_lab or you find him in the fb-group...

Hi Bernhard,
I managed to obtain one from David who very kindly shipped to the UK, Now In am trying to track down Nightstick, plenty of US sellers have them but will not ship and David doesn't keep Konjacs
